DIRECTIONS TO BEEKMAN LIBRARY

The Beekman Library is located in the town of Beekman in the hamlet of Poughquag. Our physical address is Hopewell Junction but we are eight miles from the village of Hopewell Junction which is located in the town of East Fishkill. What can we say! We know this is confusing. Hopefully the directions below, and the green and white library signs posted at the intersection of Route 55 and Clove Valley/Beekman Road (County Route 9) in Poughquag will help you find us.

From Poughkeepsie: Take Route 55 East. You will pass the Taconic State Parkway. Continue to the third traffic light at County Route 9 which is Beekman Road on right – Clove Valley Road on the left. There is a Cumberland Farms on left corner. Turn left on to Clove Valley Road. Take first right on to Town Center Blvd. You will see the library.

From points north: Take Taconic State Parkway to Route 55 Poughkeepsie – Pawling exit. Turn right on to Route 55 and follow directions above.

From points south: Take Taconic State Parkway north to Beekman Road exit. Turn right on to Beekman Road (County Route 9) and continue ACROSS Route 55. Make first right on to Town Center Blvd. You will see the library.

From points east: Take Route 55 to the traffic light at Clove Valley Road/Beekman Road (County Route 9). Turn right at Cumberland Farms on to Clove Valley Road. Make the first right on to Town Center Blvd.
